Rutland Stoves - what we do
We do the building work necessary to modify chimney breasts, for example to create space for a larger fireplace or an opening for a stove, or to reduce a large opening for a smaller setting. We also build new chimney breasts and fit new or replacement chimney liners to old, leaking or oversized chimneys, especially when fitting gas, wood burning or multifuel stoves.
But above all, we have steadily built a solid reputation for high quality advice and guidance to all types of customers seeking to replace their old fireplace and/or fire, and are increasingly involved in providing heating solutions to the whole house, from replacement boilers to complete central heating systems.
We also do direct sales to the DIY enthusiast, the self builder and the building trade who won't require our installation services, although our expertise and advice is still freely available to them.
We have fire and fireplace fitters with CORGI (for gas) and HETAS (for solid fuel) qualifications and many years experience. We also train our own and have a gas-fitting apprentice.
